We're proud to be an authorized site user for the Onyfix nail correction system. Originating in Europe, this system has proven effective in treating ingrowing toenails - painlessly and easily.
How does it work?
First, we make sure there's nothing on the sides of your nail that's creating ingrowing issue. If there is, we'll take care of that first.
Then we apply a strip of mouldable resin that gets cured to your nail. This strip grows out with your nail. This is a painless and quick procedure. Often we'll add a second strip when the first strip has grown out more than half-way up your nail. This is usually several months after the first strip is applied.
Once the strips are applied, all that's needed is time for the nail to grow. Nail polish can be applied over the resin strip.
As the nail grows, the resin strip grows out with the nail. To optimize the effectiveness of the Onyfix application, when the strip has moved to just over the half-way mark of the nail, we suggest another application at the base of the nail. This helps strengthen the original strip as it grows further into the end of the nail.
